Hi, I’m Anna, the Host and Founder of The Enough Podcast.

When I was 20 years old, I studied abroad in Cape Town, South Africa with a program that focused on leadership and personal development. It was the first time in my life that I had an opportunity to really look inward and figure out who I was, what I valued, and how I wanted the rest of my life to play out. About 9 months later, I went back to Cape Town for an internship with the same program. I thought to myself, ‘Wouldn’t it be cool to go on a program like this, but for twentysomething women, specifically?’ I wanted to attend something with a similar curriculum - travel, leadership, service, personal growth, risk-taking and adventure - that also had elements of a wellness retreat: exploring physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. I wanted to attend a wholesome program designed for women that would help me succeed in all areas of my life. I searched and searched for this program on the Internet, but I couldn’t find it. So I decided to create it myself.

A few years later, I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism, an emphasis in print editorial news, a specialization in public relations, and a minor in English. Although I had a resume full of impressive extracurriculars, as well as an Instagram feed full of amazing travel photos, I was totally unprepared for my postgraduate life. I accepted a job that wasn’t the right fit, neglected my passion for writing, gained 50 pounds, and entered into a relationship that would become my rock bottom. I was your classic Type-A overachiever, but I had a big secret: I was completely unfulfilled...and miserable.

I eventually found myself with no money, no job, no purpose, no self-esteem, and no boyfriend. It was then that I was introduced to a life coach who taught me the words “codependent” and “narcissist.” Together, we explored why I found myself in this position and how I could change the trajectory of my life. As painful as it was to realize, I learned that I wasn’t setting any boundaries because I had no self-worth.

After a year of therapy, coaching, healthy rediscovery, professional development, travel, and more, the concept of The Enough Podcast came to me: I could combine my business idea of an all-encompassing program for twentysomething women with my experience of my own downfall. ‘Enough’ represents the self-worth and boundaries that I didn’t have - but needed. So, I would proceed with creating the business, and it would teach women to know that they are enough (worth) and to know when they have had enough (boundaries) in all areas of their lives: business, relationships, friendships, and more.

The Enough Podcast is carefully designed to bring content that twentysomething women would consider a resource in living their best lives in all areas. I am dedicated to helping the younger version of myself, and all of the women like her, to focus on what they want and create a plan on how to get it. Together, we can live our healthiest, happiest, most successful lives.

I currently work for Audacy as an Account Executive selling audio solutions (yes, podcasts) and digital full-time. When I’m not working or podcasting, you can find me hanging with my best girlfriends, spending time with my 7 nieces and nephews, or (quite literally) traveling the world. Oh...or planning my wedding with the love of my life, whom I met 9 days after releasing the 9th episode of this podcast on 9/9 at 9:00. Life is good.

Thank you so much for being here - it means the world to me. I have big plans for this brand...The Enough Podcast is just the beginning!
